Sadly, some nasty spam has emerged into some of my post's comments, so now commenting is a bit more difficult. No big news at the moment, except I've been feeling a bit like some nasty flu would be on it's way - but so far hasn't gotten to me fully.

.pwer update is sort of coming some time soon =]

Where have I been

I've been doing some work with my father on a company of my uncle from my fathers side. Built a confrence and negotiation room by putting up a couple of extra walls and laminated around 90 square meters of floor. Was quite fun actually and teh money was good too. One special task I had was that I was the only one with a drivers licence so my day basicly started by driving 30 km to get my father and driving another 30 km to get to the office. And ofcourse the same thing when we finished for the day.

The only downside of this work was that because it was dusty and sweaty most of the time, my hands didn't like it too much and now I have to go and see the doctor again to ask if there would be some more effective treatments to get rid of this problem. The original treatment was fine for a while but obviously it wasn't good enough to handle added stress caused by the building and such. But it's clear now that work like that isn't good for my skin - and don't take me wrong, I really don't like to be a fancypants type of a person but when it comes to ones health and the fact that it's very unpleasant to have problems with your skin and when you know that by avoiding certain types of activities you can avoid that, I rather choose not to do such work anymore.

Other things I've been thinking about lately is the list of books I've read and own, as it's got a space reserved in the menu already. Today I finally got it started, and I'm thinking of getting it ready before putting it up to my personal site and linking it here. Took me around an hour to get around 30 books listed and work out what details I wanted the list to have.

For now the list has these sections:
- Author
- Title
- Genre
- Written (Year written in)
- Published (Publisher and year)
- Ed. (Edition number for that publisher)
- Type (Type of book, Paper or Hard for Paper back or Hard cover)
- Lang. (Language I've read it in)
- Last Read
- Read (How many times)
- Own (x marks a book I own)

I'm thinkin of maybe later adding a info field where I could put some info like have I got the books I own by bying or have they been gifts or from a library or lended from someone. The list will ofcourse be updated often as I read quite alot. This year I've read 7 books according to my list so far.

As some of you have noticed, Alfred pictures are gone for now. The reason for this is I deactivated my account at Flickr, this was because they had a default setting for letting everyone see user's e-mails and because of this I now get spam everyday. Before logging to Flickr I had none. I really don't see why the hell they have such settings as default. And even more stupid seems that when creating your account, you even don't have the option to select whether or not you want to display your email - or it maybe that I just didn't notice it?. But anyways, I've now registered to http://www.photobucket.com and it works fine. The pictures of Alfred will be uploaded there sometime in the near future.

Recently bought a Hyundai Imagequest L90D+ 19" TFT, such a nice thing. The ability display darks and whites is somewhat astounding compared to my cheap Acer AL1417 17" TFT. Also last week I went and got a Canon Powershot A520 digital camera. Finally I can take decent pictures - when I learn how to. Feel a bit sad I didn't have the camera when Alfred was still here, the bad quality of the pictures I have of him give little credit to his greatness - not that pictures ever would show what he was. Got some idea now how the camera works and have more belief that maybe I can learn to take pictures close to the quality of the likes px for example.

I guess I've been spending quite alot lately...more spending on .pwer when I get the update done.

Been listening lately to: Jamiroquais Dynamite album and Cardpark Norths debut album called All things to all people.

That's that for now, .mindseas out.
